RamYam Foods

About Us

Bridging entrepreneurship and philanthropy — one honest product at a time.

The Beginning

Yamuna Ramaseshan

Founder, RamYam Foods

RamYam Foods was started by Yamuna Ramaseshan during COVID. An entrepreneur at heart, what stands out in her journey is her constant effort to give back to the larger society while building her business.

During a time when most farm-to-table food producers were shutting down, she chose to continue the initiative by investing in and building relationships with small-scale organic producers, helping them sustain production and expand their reach through her networks.

Our Community

Supporting Those Who Were There Before Us

The core idea was to support self-help groups focused on quality produce, much like what earlier generations had access to. What began as a small idea has now grown into a larger ecosystem of procurement, production, and sales.

We offer high-quality products — many made from Yamuna's own kitchen — while also employing women from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Yamuna continues to bridge entrepreneurship and philanthropy by allocating a significant portion of her revenue to marginalized communities, especially women.

Small Batch. Real Farmers. No Shortcuts.

From cow ghee with traditional medicinal value and healing properties to turmeric enriched with curcumin for better absorption, RamYam Foods continues to reflect Yamuna's vision — bringing together quality, tradition, and purpose.

Her goal has always been to provide safe, delicious, and organic food, just as she would for her own family. Every product carries that promise.

What We Stand For

Rooted in Tradition

Cow ghee with traditional medicinal value, turmeric enriched with curcumin for better absorption — every product reflects generations of knowledge.

People First

We employ women from lower socio-economic backgrounds and channel a significant portion of our revenue back to marginalized communities.

Food as Care

Safe, delicious, and organic — the same standard Yamuna holds for her own family. That is the only benchmark we accept.

“Quality, tradition, and purpose — in every jar, every bottle, every packet.”
